Sticker or label: what’s the difference
Physically, they are the same thing: a self-adhesive material with printing that is applied to a surface. The difference is in content and purpose. A label tells you about the product: ingredients, weight, production date, barcode. A sticker more often works for the brand or service: a logo on a delivery bag, a seal on a lid, a QR code sticker at the checkout. A simple rule: from about 20 A3 sheets, it makes sense to switch to rolls. For smaller quantities, sheets are more convenient and cost-effective.

Materials: what to print on
The material is chosen for the conditions your product will live in: a fridge, a bathroom, a supermarket shelf or a warehouse box.
- Self-adhesive paper. The most common option for dry goods: grains, tea, coffee, souvenirs.
- White film, gloss or matte. Resistant to moisture and abrasion. For cosmetics, household chemicals, beverages.
- Clear film. Creates a “no-label look”, as if the text were printed directly on the glass. CMYK printing without white ink.
- Silver metallized film. A premium shine for spirits, perfume, car care products.
- Kraft and designer paper. For eco brands, honey, oil, wine and craft beer.
You can also add matte or gloss lamination, metallic foil stamping, variable numbering, QR codes and barcodes.
Types of stickers
- Die-cut. Cut to the shape of a logo or design. Great for promotions, giveaways at events and packaging branding.
- On sheets. Several stickers on one sheet for hand application on boxes, bags and jars.
- On rolls. For delivery labeling, lid seals and large batches.
- 3D domed. Coated with clear resin that gives them volume and shine. They look like a nameplate, so they are used on equipment, merch and corporate gifts.

- Prepare the layout. If you have one, check it against our layout requirements. If not, the Aladdin Print design studio will create it from scratch. Designers work by appointment, so it’s best to book in advance.
- Run a test batch. Corporate clients often print a few sheets first, check how the label sits on the container, and only then launch the full run.
- Printing and quality control. Every employee checks the previous stage of work, from the manager to the packer, and the whole process runs through an ERP system. That keeps defects to a minimum.
- Pickup or delivery. Collect your order at our office at 23A Lesi Ukrainky Boulevard (ground floor, a 5–7 minute walk from Pecherska metro), order Uklon delivery to any district of Kyiv, or receive it via Nova Poshta.
You can pay by VAT invoice or via a payment link. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00.
