A meeting with an investor tomorrow morning, an exhibition on Friday, a new manager starting on Monday, and no business cards. Sound familiar? Good news: business card printing in Kyiv doesn’t mean waiting a week. Here is how to order business cards so you can pick them up the same day, what to prepare and what not to expect from the express format.
What are express business cards
Express business cards are printed digitally right away, without waiting in line for complex finishing. That is why they can be ready in an hour. Here is what the express format includes:
- 96 business cards. This is the minimum set. You can’t order fewer, but you can order more.
- Thick 350 gsm paper. The card won’t bend in a wallet and feels solid in your hands.
- Full-color digital printing. Logo, photos, brand colors.
- Optional lamination. Matte or gloss, see the difference below.
What the express format does not include: foil stamping, embossing, designer card stock. Business cards with foil stamping are a separate order with a longer turnaround. If you need that effect, plan your printing in advance.
Business cards Kyiv: how long printing takes
| Situation | Turnaround |
|---|---|
| Set of 96 cards, layout ready and meets requirements | 30–60 minutes after payment |
| Large run, for example 1,000 cards | a few hours |
| No layout, design needed | plus time for a designer appointment and approval |
All orders go into a single queue, so the exact time depends on how busy production is when you contact us. A manager will tell you right away when your cards will be ready.
How to order business cards in Kyiv and pick them up the same day
- Prepare your layout. This is the key to speed. Check it against our layout requirements: resolution of 300 dpi or higher, 2 mm bleed on each side, fonts converted to outlines, colors in CMYK. If the layout needs fixing, it will take extra time.
- Send the file. Via Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp or to druk@aladdin-print.ua. Specify the quantity and lamination.
- Pay. By VAT invoice or via a payment link. The printing countdown starts after payment.
- Pick up. Business card printing in Pechersk is convenient because the office is right by the metro: 23A Lesi Ukrainky Boulevard, ground floor. Or order Uklon delivery to any district of Kyiv.
Laminated business cards: matte or gloss
Lamination is a thin film that protects the card from scuffs, moisture and fingerprints. Laminated business cards keep their look longer in a wallet or card holder, and the film itself defines how the card feels in your hand.
- Matte. Understated, glare-free and pleasant to the touch. Suits lawyers, consultants, construction and finance companies.
- Gloss. Makes colors brighter and richer. Works well for photos, creative professions, beauty and hospitality.
Lamination can be added to express business cards too, and it barely affects the turnaround.
Business card design in Kyiv: if you don’t have a layout
Aladdin Print design studio. A designer will create a business card from scratch or polish your idea. Designers work by appointment, in person at the office or remotely. So if you need cards urgently, book as soon as you realize you don’t have a layout. Details on the design studio page.
Your own layout. Create it in Illustrator, CorelDRAW, InDesign or Photoshop following the print requirements.
What about images generated by artificial intelligence? They work well as an idea or a reference for a designer. But they usually aren’t a print-ready layout: such files are hard to edit, and changing a phone number or job title in them is often impossible. Show the image to a designer instead, and they will turn it into a proper layout.
Who needs urgent business cards in Kyiv most often
- Exhibition and conference participants. Business cards run out at the worst possible moment, right in the middle of an event.
- New employees. A sales manager without business cards on day one loses contacts.
- Doctors, lawyers, consultants. The card stays with a patient or client and reminds them of you when they need help again.
- Companies after a rebrand or move. A new address or logo, and the old cards are no longer usable.
Need business cards today? You can order business cards in a few minutes: send a print-ready layout via Telegram, Viber or WhatsApp, and a manager will tell you the exact time they’ll be ready. More about the format on the express business cards page.
